Classes
Beginners to Intermediate ALL ARE WELCOME
- Becoming Besties with Your Sewing Machine $60 (Introduction to your sewing machine or mine) 1hr
- Brief overview of sewing machine and then let’s make a tote scrunchie or pillow $90 2hrs.
- Homeschool classes (5) 1-hour Classes. You will become confident on the machine and work on sewing project(s) depending on your speed and comfort level. Ages 7 and up Message me to choose dates.
- Private lessons, we can discuss what you'd like to make and make arrangements. Typically, it depends on the difficulty and time needed for the projects.
About Us
Hi, I'm May Lynn the owner of Sew Brave. I am a self-taught sewist. After a very difficult time in my life, I decided to go headfirst into sewing. It took a lot of trial and error, but it paid off, because practice makes progress. I started with making pillows, then started selling baby moccasins on Etsy and then handbags. I now enjoy making clothes and bags, so I'm always learning. I created Sew Brave so that you don't have to struggle like me if you work better hands on. This is meant to be a safe and inspiring space to express and grow your creativity. I hope you leave with something self-made that you are very proud of.
